TOMMY TAYLOR RIP
BARLA have been informed of the passing of Cumbria stalwart and former BARLA Board of Management member Tommy Taylor who died at West Cumberland Hospital with his family by his side on Wednesday evening the 1st March

“All our thoughts are with Tommy’s family at this sad time, he was a stalwart of the amateur game in Cumbria for many decades and was very supportive of me at meetings following my appointment of chair of BARLA a few years ago.”
Tommy’s funeral is to be held on Friday 10th March at St Mary’s Church on Trumpet Terrace, Cleator (just down the road from the Wath Brow Hornets club) at 9.10am followed by cremation at Distington at 10.30am, then back at the Wath Brow Club.
