THE BARLA YOUTH & JUNIOR CUPS YORKSHIRE
BARLA are pleased to announce that the BARLA Youth & Junior Cups are to return in autumn culminating in finals days in January 2022.
Although already at the infancy stage BARLA conducted a poll on one its social media accounts and the response indicated that clubs of all age groups at youth and junior were in favour of them returning this year.
As a result of the poll the BARLA Yorkshire Cups at Under 12’s, 13’s, 14’s, 15’s, 16’s and Under 18 will commence on Sunday 7th November with a preliminary round, culminating with a finals weekend on the 22nd & 23rd January 2022. BARLA will also be running a Supplementary Cup for teams knocked out in the preliminary or first round of the main competitions with finals scheduled for the 29th and 30th January.
Jason Woodman BARLA Youth & Junior Cup Administrator will be running the competitions on behalf of BARLA. Any clubs interested in entering any of the BARLA Yorkshire Cups are asked to send an email to barlacups@gmail.com; upon receipt they will then receive a block entry form with emphasis on the club to make sure they enter the right competition following previous problems in the past.
Entry fee into the BARLA Yorkshire Cup costs £5 per team if you are not a member of the BARLA Membership Scheme which is just is just £12.50 per club per year.
This allows free entry into the BARLA Yorkshire Cup and BARLA National Cup at both youth and junior and open age for as many teams as your clubs wish to enter. The closing date for entry is Sunday 19th October.
Clubs are also automatically entered into the BARLA Monthly Cash Draw as well as being able to put its players forward for Three Counties trials when those competitions and international honours.
