BARLA are pleased to announce that their next main game on their BARLA You Tube Channel will kick off at 2.230pm on Saturday 13th June will feature the 2014 WRLA (Women’s Rugby League Association) Challenge Cup Final.
The final features a Rochdale derby with a clash between Rochdale Hornets Ladies against Whitworth Spartans which was played at the LD Nutrition Stadium the home of Featherstone Rovers RLFC on Easter Sunday of that year.
Following the completion of the game viewers will be able to watch it again or other weeks full length games, as well as other game highlights and interviews.

Steve Manning BARLA Vice Chair said, “This weeks full length game on the BARLA You Tube Channel on Saturday will feature women’s rugby league for the first time which will feature the WRLA 2014 Challenge Cup Final and a Rochdale derby to boot when Rochdale Hornets Ladies played Whitworth Spartans on Easter Sunday that year.
“We hope that those who tune in, enjoy the game. This may be their first dip into women’s rugby league which has been played in this country for over thirty years predating Women’s Super League. We also hope that viewers continue to support the channel and its content.”
