BARLA Vice Chair Steve Manning said, “We have the 2016 BARLA National Cup Final at open age being broadcast this coming Saturday which features an all National Conference League clash. Both sides Thornhill Trojans and Myton Warriors had never reached a final previously in their clubs history and both were seeking to see their name engraved on that prestigious trophy.
“An all Yorkshire final showed the passion and competiveness of the two sides and what it meant to both sets of fans to come out as winners on the day. It will be a chance for former players of both sides and some who may still playing and competing, to reflect on the game without feeling the bumps and bruising of what was a real physical clash.
“So just go the link just before kick off time at 2 30pm for the countdown clock to the proceedings and enjoy the action whether a regular follower of the game, or new to the sport. You will also be able to catch the previous two games of this series as well as earlier games from back in May when we originally launched of the BARLA YouTube Channel.”
