Wednesday December 12th 2007   Hensingham Quit the Halifax Home Insurance National Youth League Hensingham Under 18’s have left the Halifax Home Insurance National Youth League for this season after having played eight games during the campaign. The players who have been playing in that side will continue to play for the club and will be plying their trade in the Hensingham Second team at Open Age level and pushing for spots in the First Team. The decision of the Hensingham club is a bitter blow for the Under 18’s game in Cumbria. Kells are now the only Under 18 playing in the Halifax Home Insurance National Youth League and are the only Under 18 side operating at this age group in amateur rugby league in this County.
