Eccles & Salford Juniors have withdrawn from the BARLA National following the reversal of their round one fixture against Hunslet Old Boys.
This statement from the Eccles club was issued following their withdrawel.
"It is as a matter of principle that we will not fulfil this fixture, as we object to the ruling that we have to forfeit home advantage after a period of extreme weather conditions throughout the country. On the first date of our cancellation, there was not one fixture played throughout the whole of our game and I feel that this cancellation should have been discounted by BARLA."
