| FEAST OF RUGBY AT THE CHRIS MOYLES STADIUM AS YOUTH & JUNIORS TAKE CENTRE STAGE |

A feast of rugby league was the order of the day at the Chris Moyles Stadium, Featherstone when the BARLA Youth & Junior Cup Finals 2009 took centre stage for the Under 15’s, 16’s and 17’s.
The Under 15’s Final saw Castleford Lock Lane defeat Siddal 24-14 after Lock Lane had led 12-10 at the break.
Lock Lane’s tries came from Jordan Gill, Sean Pick, Calum Ainsworth and Ben Garnham with four goals from Connor Land.
Siddal replied with tries from Ellis St Hilare, Dominic Boot and Thomas Shaw, Ahjay Hussain kicking a goal.
Castleford Lock Lane’s Sean Pick was adjudged to be Man of the Match
In the Under 16’s Final after the scores had been level 10-10 at the break Hull Isberg defeated Fryston Warriors 20-16.
Isberg’s tries came from Tom Allen, Josh Teale, Joe Gaye, Louis Sheriffe with two goals from Tom Allen.
The Warriors replied with a brace of tries from Ben Blackmore, one from Billy Lloyd and two goals from Scott Wood.
Hull Isberg’s Calum Taylor was named as Man of the Match
The Under 17 Final saw Stanningley who led 14-2 at half time over Brighouse Rangers clinch the Cup with a 24-16 victory.
Stanningley’s tries came from a Lloyd Templeton brace, plus efforts from Sam savage, Jack Bussey and Cardell Drury with goals from Nial Murphy and Josh Wallwyn.
Brighouse Rangers replied with tries from Ryan Slater, Ben Manning and four goals from Matthew Holliday.
Lloyd Templeton of Stanningley was named as Man of the Match
